But what makes this record stick out is two things, in my opinion.

First, they worked on their sound and made it HUGE. The Riffs are enormous, thick and saturated. The guitars Buzz in the way Zakk Wylde's did at his peak. The whole thing sound heavy but incredibly clear and on blast.

Second their vocals are of the Powerful Throaty, Super-Gruff Type that goes a long way. Itrs like hearing Wylde, mixed with a testosterone filled Hetfield. It works.
