Zitat:VÖ: 07.03.09 New album from The Flower Kings/Transatlantic/Kaipa mainman Roine Stolt and singer Nad Sylvan (Unifaun) All started as a solo project of Roine but when Nad came onboard as a guest singer" it gradually changed into a fullblown prog album where Nad does most of the leads and backing vocals. Their common love of late 60's and early 70's prog is all over this album - Beatles,Genesis,Queen,ELO,Pink Floyd,Procol Harum and of course bits of both FlowerKings and Unifaun. A few favourite drummers tracked drums for the 12 tracks, Pat Mastelotto (King Crimson,Stickmen etc ) Zoltan Csörsz (TFK,Karmakanic) and Jimmy Keegan (Santana,Spocks Beard Live ) the eccentric Biggo Zelfries (Walrus Farm) did most of the piano and analogue keyboards and TFK bassist Jonas Reingold add some fretless bass spice too. Music is a bit more acoustic and maybe more down to earth than Flowerkings but still with a vivid orchestration to boot, vocal arrangements more elaborated and borrow from both Beatles,ELO,Queen and Steely Dan. First edition is a LTD digipac with a full 77 minutes of music.Just For Kicks Music
