James Bond Nr.23 kommt Ende 2012

Wieso sollte Daniel Craig so sein wie alle anderen Bonds davor? "Casino Royale" und "Quantum of Solace" spielen VOR "Dr. No". Bond erhält in "Casino Royale" erst seinen 00-Status und damit die "licence to kill".

"He's just got his 007 stripes when he gets into the story so he's got some rough edges on him to begin with and hopefully, by the end of it, he'll become the 007 we all know and love."

Kommt mal weg von dem Gedanken Daniel Craig müsste irgendjemand nachahmen. Craigs Bond ist n rough diamond, und stellt (momentan) Ian Flemings Bond aus den Büchern dar.

Sean Connery und Terence Young (Regisseur "Dr. No", "From Russia with love", "Thunderball") haben den Bond geschaffen, den wir alle als "typisch Bond" bezeichnen (alle darauf folgenden Schauspieler haben Connery nachgeahmt, u.a. deshalb ist Connery für mich DER Bond Darsteller schlechthin).

"Terence Young WAS James Bond" wrote Robert Cotton. There is little doubt that Young fitted the profile of Bond - the erudite, sophisticated lady killer, dressed in Savile Row suits, always witty, well-versed in wine, and comfortable at home and abroad. Cotton commented, "As Lois Maxwell related in one of Connery's many biographies, 'Terence took Sean under his wing. He took him to dinner, showed him how to walk, how to talk, even how to eat.' Some of the cast remarked that Connery was simply doing a Terence Young impression, but Young and Connery knew they were on the right track."

Ich bin auch nicht gerade begeistert von den neuen Bond Filmen, das liegt aber sicher nicht an der Darstellung von Daniel Craig (sondern z.B. an dem nervösen MTV-Generation-Cutting ala "Bourne Identity").

Als Bond Fan freu ich mich trotzdem auf #23 und bin gespannt wie sich die Filmreihe und Craigs Bond weiterentwickeln.
