Zitat:Hungarian post-black metal band VORTEX has released a new four-song EP, "VERSion", which was mastered by the notorious villain from DHG, Tom Kvalsvoll (EMPEROR, ARCTURUS, CODE). The CD was recorded at the Noiselab Studio by Fehér Dávid (LONG PIG) and is limited to 100 hand-numbered copies.
According to the bands official bio, VORTEX was "formed in 2000 by Major and Blazsek in order to play some simple black metal songs in the vein of old-school bands. As the years passed, so became the music much more unique and complex with heavy electronic influences and experimental parts, plus strong visual effects in live shows. Until April of 2006 VORTEX functioned as a six-member group but at that time the two founder decided to continue as a duo due to several reasons. M joined the band as a live guitarist, so the line-up was complete and ready for making some entirely new music."
