Zitat:France's MØN has been crafting its sophomore release for years, much to the chagrin of anyone swoon by the collective's self-titled debut half a decade ago. Although that debut garnered many comparisions to Finnish superstars Maygar Posse, Sikfor Harenstrüp witnesses MØN breaking into new territory with more versatile songwriting. Post-rock aficionados will still love the band's occasional throttling of unbridled energy, but some of the newer cuts show a maturity level akin to that of Gregor Samsa or Efterklang. Sikfor Harenstrüp has been highly anticipated around the TSB camp for years, and we're happy to report that is easily exceeds all expectations. 2011 appears to be a big year for post-rock fans, and MØN has already delivered an album that can't be missed.
Wie Franzosen auf einen solchen Band- und Albumtitel kommen können, bleibt aber ihr Geheimnis. Der Track auf MS ist übrigens nicht wirklich repräsentativ für das komplette Album.
