Rise & Fall Civilizations At War

Midway has released a single-player demo of Rise & Fall: Civilizations at War where you play as the Egyptians against the Romans. The game lets players completely command one of the four mightiest empires of the ancient world: Greece, Rome, Egypt, and Persia. The game’s development is now being led internally out of the Midway San Diego studio, with a group that includes game industry veterans from the teams that developed Heroes of Might and Magic and Lords of Everquest.

Pacific Storm Demo

Buka Entertainment has released a playable demo for Pacific Storm, allowing you to try out the 3D real-time action developed by Lesta Studio and scheduled to be released this May. Thanks: 3DGamers. Described as a mixture of RTS, war-game and simulator, Pacific Storm features detailed 3D models of war machines, including battleships, aircraft-carriers, destroyers, cruisers and rocket cruisers, submarines, torpedo boats, tankers, cargo ships and transports, fighters, attack planes, torpedo-bombers, strategic bombers, reconnaissance planes, land cannons and antiaircraft guns. It also features a wide system of upgrades including the option of producing nuclear or bacteriological weapons, realistic 3D landscapes and weather conditions (mist, storm, rain), and multiplayer via LAN supports battles on the tactical map and in the simulation mode.

Darkstar One Demo wurde released!

The German demo for Darkstar One is now locally mirrored, giving you the chance to try out this space action game scheduled for this July. In Darkstar One you will play Kayron Jarvis, a young fighter pilot whose life will take an unexpected turn during the course of events. The game features over two hundred different weapons, shields and equipment items, as well as a vast, simulated universe with numerous, completely different races, space ships and battle tactics. The E3 2006 trailer is also available for download.

So habe die Darkstar One demo mal angespielt
Ich finde es richtig geil maus steuerung fehlt mir halt das man den maus speed einstellen kann aber ist halb so wild
grafisch auch richtig schoen
deutsch sprachausgabe ist sehr gut gelungen obwohl ich ja immer auf die englischen zurueck greife aber die deutschen stimmen sind echt gut finde ich.
ich werds mir wohl kaufen
wer auf Freelancer steht sollte unbedingt mal rein schauen

trifft etwa auch meine meinung...
grafik ist nicht schlecht
viel bei diablo & co geklaut

allerdings was mich enorm stoert...
cam ist nicht drehbar, gerade bei dem 3d-rpg sollte sowas pflicht sein
die charakter, inventar fenster etc. & items haette man ruhig etwas schoener designen koennen
und das einstellen der unteren leiste (schnelltasten etc.) ist viel zu umstaendlich, da haett ich mir drag & drop gewuenscht.

was ich dem spiel allerdings zu gute halte ist das setting, dass ist mal was neues, weg vom fantasy einheitsbrei - bin mal gespannt was die vollversion kann...
