Idolum is the title of the upcoming new album of Ufomammut. It`ll be licensed by Supernaturalcat in April 2008. Recorded in Milano at Magnolia studio and mixed and mastered at Locomotore Studio in Roma, the album proudly features Lorenzo Stecconi as SoundLord.

Idolum is a new chapter in the sonic adventure of Ufomammut, presenting a sensible evolution in the sound and in the structure of the songs: dark atmospheres, simple and mastodontic song frameworks, a different idea of psichedelic rock.

"Idolum" is a Latin word meaning "ghost" and "idea" at the same time, representing the massive and hidden presence as the main concepts of the album.

Schoene neue Ufomammut . Ein wenig mehr Elektroelemente und mehr Riffwiderhohlungen und damit etwas eintoeniger und weniger abwechslungsreich als noch auf den Lucifer Songs (2005). Also kein Fortschritt, aber immernoch grossartiger Psychedelic Doom Metal. 8/10

Hab die Godlike Snake glaub ich noch irgendwo rumfliegen, aber das Scheibchen besorge ich mir aufjedenfall, sollte eh mal wieder mehr doom hoeren, hoere viel zu viel Prog in letzter Zeit
