Ich finde sie einfach 

Kaum ein Album ist von mir (und vielen anderen) so erwartet worden wie diese Scheibe, nach "Cult" hatte ich grosse Hoffnungen auf einen echten Killer, und ich bin nicht enttaeuscht worden!!! 

Nr.1 - Flesh Storm
(Un)heilige Scheisse, so einen Opener haben Slayer zum letzten mal mit War ensemble am Start gehabt. Schnell, fette Slayerriffs bis zum umfallen, Tom klingt wieder wie auf alten Scheiben, absolutes Highlight !!! Nur geil
Nr. 2 - Catalyst
So, jetzt ne Schippe langsamer. Von wegen! Catalyst ballert noch ne Spur schneller durch die Boxen, auch hier sind wieder fette Riffs am Start, Mr. Lombardo zerlegt dabei seine Schiessbude.
Nr. 3 - Eyes of the Insane
Der Song ist ja bereits besprochen worden doch fuer diese Endfassung nehme ich alle kritischen Aussagen zurueck!!! Etwas langsamer, aber enorm heftig und ein geiler Groove treiben den Song voran. 
Nr. 4 - Jihad
Auch der Song geistert ja schon laenger durchs Netz, hat mir bisher nicht gefallen. Der Anfang gefaellt mir immernoch nicht so, aber nach den 3,30 Minuten bin ich auch hier hin und weg 
Nr. 05 - Skeleton Christ
um mich nicht noch 100x zu wiederholen hoer ich jetzt hier mal auf, dieses Album ist sooooooo geil!!

Zum Ende moechte ich mich fuer das Review entschuldigen  , Slayer sind einfach meine absolute Lieblingsband und mit dieser Scheibe haben sie meine Erwartungen mehr als uebertroffen. Etwas "neutraler" an die Sache zu gehen ueberlasse ich jetzt euch, ich geb ueberschwengliche 10/10 Punkten!!!!!
Wenn ich wieder klar denken kann versuch ich den Rest noch zu ergaenzen, im moment wuerde da nur ueberall was von geil / fantastisch / das beste seid der Seasons ... stehen.

Outburst is a pretty remarkable band from Tilburg (The Netherlands), who already shared the stage with acts like Death Angel, The Crown, Anthrax and many others, too numerous to mention! The band, originating from the remains of Dutch death metallists Acrostichon, also played Ozzfest, The No Mercy Easter Festival and even played the Milwaukee Metalfest in 2003. Quite an impressive list for a band that only released a self-financed mcd (Overfiend) until now. This second attack is entitled Fair And Balanced (a Fox News slogan) and was recorded in the Double Noise Studio (Sauron a.o.) in their hometown.

This outfit sounds like a well-oiled thrash machine and combines various metal styles, from Bay Area thrash to the melodic Gothenburg sound to ancient German speed. The sound really is face melting and blew away my speaker set fore good. There are guest vocals on Attack Of The Overfiend by Erik Kalsbeek (Textures) and on What The Eyes See by Leonard Leal (Cephalic Carnage). Outburst are no originators of a unique sound, but they are really good in what they are doing. What else to say about this release? Buy or die! Last year the Robert Mason led Big Cock sure succeeded in kicking up a serious amount of dust with their very first platter. For starters there is the band’s name: dismissed by some as “childish” or “immature” but greeted with a smile by those with the right sense of humour. Add to that a collection of songs with lyrics focusing on sex, rock ‘n roll, having a good time and…sex…and you have all the ingredients to get your share of the attention.
Musically the guys served up a most tasty dose of sleazy, bad ass rock ‘n roll that wasn’t a million miles removed from what Marq Torien and C° cranked out on their first 2 efforts.
And guess what…Big Cock continue that fine tradition on their self titled sophomore disc.
The disc opens with some words of wisdom from Mr. Mason before the pounding beat of the fast paced, Dokken styled “Fucked Up” (an ode to the much in demand good times) kicks in. Some of our readers pointed out how much Robert’s vocals suit this type of stuff and when they hear this here ear candy I have no doubt they will say the same thing. Up next are two mid-tempo cuts “Real Man” and “Ride On Me” that both offer shades of AC/DC and even some Cinderella.
In the shape of the grinding, fist pumping “Rock Hard” the album delivers a cut that is tailor made for some audience participation in a live situation. A tune that you normally wouldn’t expect to pop up on an album of this ilk is the Paul Anka penned “She’s A Lady” but the boys cover the tune with grace and it fits in perfectly with the rest of the songs.
On the rockin‘ “So Easy Bein’ Me” the foursome spice up their sound with a touch of punk while “Every Inch Of My Love” is the album’s first ballad. The latter track may be of the sugar coated kind, there’s no mistake about the lyrical content however.
The award for the sleaziest cut is snatched up by “Dirty Girl” which is followed by the album’s most surprising track, the Beach Boys styled “Scottsdale Girls”.
The final part of the CD consists of the Kix-like “Get Me Up”, “Take Me”, the party rockin‘ “Booze & My Baby” and the acoustically driven “Let’s Make Love”.
So there you have it: another solid effort from a band that wants to put the fun back in rock ’n roll and my advice to you is to join the party. But whether you except the invitation or not, there’s no way you can ignore Big Cock! (Quelle:rockreport.be)
